The ThinkPub project, co-funded by the Creative Europe programme, reached a key milestone during Readmagine 2025, one of Europe’s leading forums for publishing innovation, held at Casa del Lector, Matadero Madrid.

On 26 May, ThinkPub partners convened for an internal strategy meeting hosted by the Fundación Germán Sánchez Ruipérez. The agenda focused on advancing core elements of the project, including:

  • Development of a Notebook LLM—a digital glossary and knowledge resource;

  • Creation of accessible user manuals in Q&A format;

  • Strategies for localized training invitations;

  • Budget structures and expert fee frameworks;

  • Preparation for upcoming partner meetings in Frankfurt (October 2025), Sofia (November 2025), and Vienna (June 2026).

The day concluded with an informal networking event in Madrid’s city centre, fostering collaboration and exchange across partner institutions.

On 27 May, ThinkPub presented its public session, “Learning from the Innovation Leaders,” as part of the official Readmagine programme. Keynotes by Michalis Kalamaras, Ainoa Zalabardo, Aurora Payá, and Raúl Pérez addressed topics such as digital transformation, employee experience, workflow strategies, and hybrid publishing. The session closed with a roundtable moderated by Nathan Hull, inviting critical reflection on the evolving publishing landscape.

The day also marked the launch of the first localized ThinkPub training sessions, testing the project’s educational methodologies in a real-world setting. These sessions explored AI integration, support for small publishers, and innovative approaches to professional learning.

Together, these events affirmed ThinkPub’s commitment to driving structural innovation and sector-wide renewal across the European publishing ecosystem.
