This September, ThinkPub will be in Lisbon for BOOK 2.0, taking place on 15–16 September 2026 at the Belém Cultural Center.

Under this year’s theme, Back to Basics. Back to Books., the event will bring together national and international voices to explore the future of books, reading and literacy in a rapidly changing world.

On 16 September, ThinkPub will present a dedicated afternoon programme examining how publishers, booksellers and cultural organisations can rethink their marketing strategies, reach new readers and create sustainable growth in an increasingly competitive attention economy. The programme has been curated by ThinkPub consortium member Nathan Hull, who will also moderate the afternoon’s discussions.

Structured as an interactive masterclass combining presentations, case studies and open discussion, the programme will explore creativity as a business driver, discoverability in the age of artificial intelligence and new approaches to audience engagement. It will also consider how publishing can connect with music, film, wellness and education, alongside the growing influence of social platforms, communities and creators.

The ThinkPub afternoon programme includes:

All sessions will be held in English.
