ThinkPub in Brussels: Digital Visual Narratives
On Friday, 27 March 2026, ThinkPub returns to Brussels with a dedicated session on visual and digital storytelling, organised by EDRLab at Tour & Taxis (Brussels Book Fair).
Under the title “Digital Visual Narratives: Challenges, Practices, and Perspectives”, the event explores how digital transformation is reshaping the landscape of comics, webtoons, and youth publishing. With the rise of new reading platforms and evolving audience expectations, publishers and creators are facing new editorial, technical, and strategic challenges.
Join us for a morning of insights and professional exchange, bringing together leading voices from across the sector to reflect on key questions: How can stories and authors be developed across multiple formats? What are the expectations of today’s audiences? And how can the publishing ecosystem adapt to rapidly changing digital environments?
The programme will feature contributions from Simon Casterman (ADEB), Sébastien Célimon (White Dragon), Agathe Jacon (L’école des loisirs), Pierrick Crosnier (ONO), Yun Inada (Mangas.IO), and Anne Bergmann (Federation of European Publishers), alongside a dedicated networking moment for participants.
