Abstract
From object to service, a book’s forms are diverse. Each of those forms is usually produced in concurrency to address different consumption ways and audience needs and reach as many readers as possible. Understanding media (print, digital, audio) and formats (Hardcover, Paperback, EPUB, W3C audiobook, etc.) is necessary to overview the production process, avoid vendor dependence, and offer your content to the readers with the richest reading experience.
