The Polish Audiobook Market 2025 report presents a fast-growing but fragmented audio publishing sector. PICK A VOICE estimates that approximately 5,600–6,770 audiobook titles are produced annually in Poland. The country’s audiobook ecommerce market reached an estimated PLN 300 million in 2025—approximately USD 74.8 million—and is forecast to grow at an annual rate of 4.7%, reaching USD 90.1 million by 2029.
Polish listeners can obtain audiobooks through subscriptions, individual purchases, library services and mixed models. Audioteka offers approximately 50,000 Polish titles and recorded 438 million minutes of listening, while BookBeat describes Poland as its fastest-growing market. Empik Go reported 60% growth in paying users and a 25% increase in time spent with audio. The report also compares Storytel, Legimi, Virtualo, Woblink, Publio, IBUK Libra and the expanding provision of digital books through public and academic libraries.
PICK A VOICE’s analysis of 349 publishing brands reveals a market with influential leaders and a substantial long tail. Wydawnictwo Filia and Saga Egmont each account for slightly more than 7% of new audiobook releases, followed by Lind & Co Polska, Znak and Heraclon International. The three largest publishers represent 18.45% of new releases, the top ten 37.24%, the top twenty 50.84% and the top fifty 72.96%. At the same time, 265 publishing brands were active in 2025, with a median production of only 0.33 new titles per month.
The complete report expands this market overview through eleven chapters based on more than one hundred verified sources and 24,959 bestseller observations collected across seven platforms between June and December 2025.
